Lews Worm Castings

 Thanks for the opportunity to share with you about who we are and how we got started in the worm business. I believe in God, Country and a Purpose to have a healthy life style, eating good food and fishing. I’ve been eating for some 54 years and fishing for 48 years. I have been raising night crawlers for a few years and the castings are a natural by product. The ability for the castings to produce and build the soil has been a pleasant experience, to say it honestly and simply “AMAZING”.
 Growing up in Warner Robins, Ga., Lew began working very early in life with his father in the auto parts business. Worked a paper route, cut grass and played some kind of ball constantly in his youth. He began fishing with Dad and Mom 9 months before He was born. Fishing continues to be important desire in His life. The desire to fish and enjoy the outdoors has moved to a different perspective, to introduce “Children” to the joy of fishing. 
 Lew’s grandfather only had one job in His Life, which was a full-time truck farmer in rural Georgia. So at a young age spent many hours being introduced to gardening, farming, and harvesting the crops. Having his first garden at 9 years of age dug with a shovel and hoe fed his family radishes, greens, squash, okra, green onions, and tomatoes. It was a garden any 9 year old with be proud of. Seems that we always return to things we are taught and learn in our youth, realizing how important they are. 
 I have been married for 34 years to a lovely caring wife; we have two Great Girls, Son-In-Laws with four wonderful Gran-children. What a Blessing life is when we take a close look. God is an important part of our everyday life. We can plant and nurture all we can, but He designed everything to grow and as He gives the increase, so we purpose to give Him the praise and Glory.
